My EyeLab: Affordable Eye Care
My EyeLab announced its new location in Live Oak, conveniently located in the Forum next to IHOP at 8127 Agora Parkway. Regional Manager Tim Turner and General Manager Catherine Alford hosted the formal opening with a ribbon cutting ceremony on March 14th. The ceremony featured special guests, including their Account Manager Cynthia Vasquez, Tri-County Chamber of Commerce dignitaries, Mayor Pro-Tem Ed Cimics, City Administrators, and LOEDC Director Rachel Clark.
The dream of delivering easy, affordable eye care to all people began in 2006 with just two stores and 16 employees, one store located in Mishawaka, IN and the other in Dayton, OH. When Daniel Stanton started out in the optical industry in 2000, he had an opportunity to see first-hand the high mark-up cost customers experienced when buying eye glasses, as well as their frustration with the process and length of time to receive the finished product. Daniel became certain there was a better way of delivering eye care. Driven by a passionate belief that seeing clearly is a critical part of a person's happiness and quality of life, he set out to build a new model that would redefine the eye care industry.
Daniel formed a partnership with the late Marco Musa, an eye care executive who shared Daniel's vision of redefining what was possible in the industry. Working directly with eyewear manufacturers, Daniel and Marco were able to provide exclusive, high-quality styles of frames so customers could stay fashionable and on trend without paying costly, marked-up prices. In 2008, the mission continued and expanded. Daniel was joined by Max Musa to grow the brands to over 100 locations nation-wide annd e-commerce sites. Building on these achievements and pioneering new industry standards, their team of experts are ready to deliver a personalized and enhanced shopping experience to their customers. We welcome My EyeLab to the Live Oak community and look forward to their continued success!
